Chairman's opening - Gifford Booth, Director and Co-founder of TAI  9.15
The dualistic and the holistic perspective on the mind-body-brain relationship - Michael Soth  9.30-10.00

This session will provide an accessible and jargon-free introduction to the revolution in neuroscience and the consequent paradigm shift in psychology. This has profound implications for how we manage ourselves and others.

Keynote presentation by Peter Russell    10.05-10.50
Peter will explore how our attitudes and beliefs affect the way we perceive, our feelings, and our creativity. The most important choice we can make is to open to a new way of seeing. Deep inside us all there is innate wisdom. By relaxing the mind, we can find inner calm and access the truths of the quiet inner voice.

As we move into times of increasingly rapid and unexpected change, learning to maintain an inner stability and flexibility will become paramount.

Body/brain intelligence in practice  10.55-12.00

In this session our panel of experts with experience of different types of intelligence in action will debate how we are taught to think in business and how they used different ways of acquiring knowledge and wisdom to find new solutions.  This session will be managed by Gifford Booth.

Panel members :

  • Professor Les Lancaster - the UK's first full professor of Transpersonal Psychology
  • Patrick Harris of thoughtengine, formerly Director of 'Creaticity' at Orange
